On 4 - 5 April, the Green Steel World and Hydrogen Tech World will bring together leading experts, decision-makers, and companies working to decarbonize the steel industry. Alleima is one of the main sponsors and presenters at the events.

Dilip Chandrasekaran will discuss the benefits and advantages of electric heating in steel-making processes, and how the technology enable the industry in making the transition to fossil fuel-free steel. He will talk about the challenges and opportunities for the steel industry and share some examples of steel manufacturers who have successfully made the transition from gas power to electric heating.
Angela Philipp will discuss about material considerations in alkaline electrolyzers for heat exchangers and piping that are not exposed to high-pressure hydrogen gas. She will compare the corrosion resistance of different duplex stainless steels in caustic solutions and their suitability for service in alkaline electrolyzers.
